Review by hotel critic
Imagine a place of almost 100% silence where you can see stars clearly, hear distant buses, and feel at one with nature – welcome to Silent Arrow desert lodge. Despite no electricity in the tent, the second tent offers modern amenities ensuring a comfortable stay in the Negev Desert.Friendly owner, Dior, creates a welcoming atmosphere, where strangers bond over herbal tea, stargazing. The unique setting encourages a hippie vibe, promoting sustainable living and a deeper connection with the environment. Our private dome tent provided a cozy refuge with hot shower facilities, perfect for a late December visit. The shared kitchen and lounge fostered a sense of community, while the absence of electricity encouraged us to embrace a simpler way of life, in harmony with nature. As a peace activist and community organizer, the Silent Arrow's focus on eco-friendly practices and cultural exchange resonated deeply with me. Engaging in activities like archery and horseback riding further enriched our desert experience, highlighting the importance of sustainable tourism and cross-cultural understanding. In summary, Silent Arrow offers a unique blend of serenity, communal spirit, and eco-conscious living, making it a must-visit for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Negev Desert.
